Thirty-five years ago, in 1980, the preeminent Chinese violinist SHENG Zhongguo, known as the ‘Chinese Yehudi Menuhin’, held more than 20 concerts around Australia in five different cities. Mr Sheng was the first Chinese artist to perform nationally in Australia, and was hailed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as ‘one of the greatest artists in the world’. Now, some 35 years later, SHENG Zhongguo is coming back to Australia to present the ‘35 year Anniversary Australian Tour’.
中国杰出小提琴家盛中国在世界范围内享有“中国梅纽因”的美誉。35年前，盛中国来到澳大利亚，作为首位在澳洲举办全国巡演的中国艺术家，他分别在六个城市举办了十二场音乐会，澳大利亚ABC广播公司将他列入“世界最伟大的艺术家”的行列。35年后，盛中国带着他的“35周年巡演”回到澳洲。
