Official Launch – Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne

Vice Minister (Education) of People's Republic of China, Mr. Zhang Xinsheng officially launched the Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne on June 25th 2007.

Mdm Xu Lin, Director of the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), H.E. Zhang Junsai, China's Ambassador to Australia, Mr. Liang Shugen, Consul-General (Melbourne) in together with Prof. Larkins, Deputy Vice Chancellor (International) attended the opening ceremony.
