Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations 2020

On Friday October 2, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations were held online via Zoom. The event brought students and teachers together for an evening of interactive and engaging activities. The evening started with a warm up activity and then trivia. The trivia presented some challenging questions on the origins and customs of the Mid-Autumn festival. The participants learnt to say "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" in Chinese, "中秋节快乐 ", before learning a paper-folding technique to create a paper-rabbit decoration. The highlight of the evening was the break-out session in which the participants shared their experiences with Chinese langage learning and celebrating Chinese festivals.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne sends their best wishes to everyone and hopes to see you again at the next event.
